Third Sunday of Lent
I read somewhere that when Jesus was cleansing the temple, overturning the money-changers' tables, and driving out those who sold the animals to be sacrificed, he was upset because people were not paying attention to the Presence of God. That makes sense to me as the people who sold the animals and the money-changers were really there to help the Jews to fulfill the law, but the reason the Jews were coming to the temple was God! They had lost sight of that.
Now, how many times have we gone into the Presence of God and been concerned about our own problems and failed to realize that God was waiting to have us come to Him? I think we are just to be with Him and listen to Him and let Him love us! Try this at Church today.
