Sixth Sunday of Ordinary Time

This is one of my favorite Gospels. The leper comes to Jesus, kneels down, and begs him to cure him. He says: "If you wish, you can make me clean." Jesus stretches out his hand, touched him, and said: "I do will it. Be made clean." The leprosy left him immediately, and he was made clean.

What a wonderful faith the leper has. Have we the same?

Jesus told him not to tell anyone but to go show himself to the priest but the man cannot contain his joy and he spread the news so quickly that the gospel tells us the it was impossible for Jesus to enter a town and so he remained outside in deserted places, "and people kept coming to him from everywhere."
