His Generosity
"What do you want me to do for you?" Mark 10:51
Did you feel impelled to give of yourself to all who came for healing not matter how tired you were? Was the cost high?
Heart of Jesus lavishing unquenchable love on the good and bad alike...
Pope Francis: "...what the Holy Spirit mobilises is not an unruly activism, but above all an attentiveness which considers the other " in a certain sense as one with ourselves." This loving attentiveness is the beginning of a true concern for their person which inspires me effectively to seek their good... True love is always contemplative, and permits us to serve the other not out of necessity or vanity, but rather because she is beautiful above and beyond mere appearances." EG 199
I love the question Jesus keeps asking us: "What do you want me to do for you?" And then the quote from Pope Francis is worth pondering today!
