Just gaze on this for a while, a long, loving look - use all your senses. Can you smell the salt water? Feel the sand between your toes? Hear the waves as they roll in to the shore? How do you feel?
One of the calls of the General Chapter:
In the radical style of Jesus of Nazareth, we wish to be in closer relationship as sisters and with one another and with others; we wish to be simpler, more human and closer to people in their experience, in order to show forth the joyful and compassionate face of God and to be at the service of Life, wherever we are sent.”
To live more humanly just means to really live as a human being should live and I love the call "to show forth the joyful and compassionate face of God...
