Today we begin an important season; it lasts only six weeks but is a time when we all want to spend with Jesus as He teaches us so much in the weeks that lead up to His death and resurrection. I hope that we are all able to enter into the spirit of Lent and let the Holy Spirit lead us into the desert during this time. The time of Lent is meant to bring us closer to Jesus and to strengthen us so we do not fall into temptation.
I am making a retreat today and will tell you about it tomorrow.
