Perhaps each of us could answer the question, "What happens when we contemplate Mary?" i many different ways. I am sharing here a quote from Mother Stuart that I find very true in my own life.
"Grace and virtue come out from Our Lady as we meditate upon her. What is rough and hard in us is softened by the thought of here; what is selfish is widened and sweetened; what is hasty is restrained and controlled; what is sad is filled with her own joy. It is true of her, as was said in prophecy both of her and Holy Wisdom, 'her company hath no bitterness, nor any tediousness, but joy and gladness.' "
