I am always struck by how a picture is able to lead us into contemplation. I no longer can walk in the woods, nor even go walking on the beach, but I can imagine how it is - part is memory, but often it is putting myself into a picture, hearing the water, feeling the breeze, etc. I am sure most of us are able to do this and it is a help for prayer. God is everywhere, but nature leads us to Him in a special way.
Perhaps you have a special place where you have found God, or rather, God has found you. Recall it now and perhaps it is also a resurrection story for you. Take time to remember, to thank, and to keep that special place in mind today.
