Today we ask in the Collect for the Mass of this Feast that God, "who made the Mother of your Son to be our Mother and Queen, graciously grant that, sustained by her intercession, we may attain in the heavenly kingdom the glory promised to your children."
I love this feast and often imagine heaven with Our Lady sitting next to her Divine Son and surrounded by the Communion of Saints and a multitude of angels.
Let us ask Mary to help us have peace in our world today!
