All will be well if we trust God

Today is Friday the 13th of May and only good things are going to happen to each of us.

"Remember that whatever happens...you must say to yourself, according to circumstances, joyfully and thankfully or humbly and suvmissively or bravely or if need be, defiantly to the troubles within, this is part of the story and the story of God's love for you and yours for Him." Mother Stuart

I think that I have shared this quote before, but it is so true. God is present in all that happens and we need to just trust Him.

I had a Guided Imagery this week and need to spend time with it, but it was very consoling. I was sitting in front of the two waterfalls in Yosemite National Park and Jesus came and sat with me. We watched the water pour forth and then shared our mutual concerns about the war, the plight of the refugees, the preparation for the Synod, the number of abortions, the whole political scene, etc. Jesus told me that prayer is very important. To sit in silence before God is a gift for the world and all the things that need prayer. God does not need words to know what we want to change, etc. Just sit in silence and let God love us.
