Being Artisans of Hope...

I am quite excited about hearing that from September 1 to October 4 the entire Philippine Region (the United States/Canada Province is part of the Philippine Region which includes the Antilles, Mexico, and South America) invites us to reflect on one of my favorite passages in the Constitution from the perspective of the imperatives identified in the document sent out in June on "Being Artisans of Hope in our  Broken and Blessed World." We are to listen to what Mother Earth demands of us so we can determine our next steps as one Body.
I will share here the passage from the Constitutions as I think this is a call for all of us:

"For us, life, community, apostolic service,
all spring forth from our union and conformity
with the Heart of Jesus.
This grace of vocation
is a way of conversion and of apostolic fruitfulness.
The pierced Heart of Jesus
opens our being to the depths of God
and to the anguish of humankind.
Jesus draws us into His movement of adoration
of the Father
and love for all, especially those who are poor.
We keep returning to this word of Jesus,
as to a light which gradually transfigures us in His image: "Learn of Me, because I am gentle and humble of heart."
