I hope you have been reflecting on your favorite names or images of God. I used to always address my daily journal to "Dear Lord" but now I always begind with "Dear Lord Jesus" as I wanted to include the holy name of Jesus. I think of God as Father, a loving and powerful Father; I think of God more as the Son, Jesus, who is both human and divine and so I feel very close to Him. He is friend, lover, constant companion, one who cares and shepherds me. The image of the shepherd is very special for me.
