I love the title of Thomas Keating's book: Consenting to God as God Is and find that it is a call to me in and out of prayer. Here are a couple of thoughts to share with you this morning. Keating says that it is precisely our weakness that interests God more than anything else. When we try just to be still and sit in God's presence, we begin to feel an great desire, and intense longing to be united to God. Try it and see.
Sometimes we forget that God does not need out thoughts or words; God waits for us to come to Him and allow Him to love us. We just need to fully surrender to His Love and Mercy.
